Do you know the adinkra symbols ?? The Adinkra symbols are symbols carrying historical and philosophical significance for the peoples who created them. They originate from the Akan people, present in Ghana and Ivory Coast. These symbols are really popular today and are found today in logos, clothing, furniture, sculptures, and even inspire tattoos. Full of meaning, these symbols have become representations of the richness of Akan culture and serve to convey profound truths in a visual form. These symbols have a decorative function while conveying messages related to traditional wisdom and various aspects of life and the environment. There are more than a hundred different symbols, each associated with a specific meaning. Here are seven of them that I particularly appreciate. What is your fav ?

A little photodump of my work (pictures and words) being exhibited in paris France at la place de la bastille. 😍😍 The @photoclimat_officiel Biennial is now officially open, and yesterday marked its inauguration! Yesterday, during the inauguration, I was overwhelmed by a wave of emotions! The discovery of the installation was particularly impactful, as was the moment of the opening cocktail. I feel profound gratitude for this opportunity. It's not only the first time my images are being exhibited on such a scale (the photos are very large), but it's also the first time my texts are being displayed simultaneously, making this experience truly special. My voice thus finds a doubly precious resonance. The location of Place de la Bastille for this exhibition carries powerful symbolic meaning, resonating with the exceptional work of all the women showcased in this artistic hub. It's a place steeped in history and revolution, which aligns perfectly with the theme of our exhibition. At night, when the photos light up, it's an emotional experience in itself. Seeing my work exhibited outdoors, accessible to everyone, regardless of race, sex, age, or social class, fills me with indescribable joy. I want to emphasize that this installation will remain in place for a month, until October 15th. I warmly encourage you to come and experience it in person. Your support and presence would be an additional source of inspiration for me. Feel free to drop by and share this experience with your loved ones.
